I have designed this easy crochet bag using basic crochet stitches in US terminology of chains, single crochet, half double crochets and double crochet stitches so it is not complicated but still has an overall effect of looking fabulous. For UK and Australian crocheters there is a stitch conversion for you.

This pattern is very easy to follow with a concise 14-page step by step guide showing large images at each stage. This bag is worked in a round so there are no seams to join at the end. For this pattern I have used a 2mm cotton macrame cord, but a 10 ply chunkier cotton or jute style yarn would work equally as well.

MATERIALS CROCHET HOOK: METRIC: Size 5.00mm, USA: 8/H, UK: Size 6 I used a 2mm diameter cotton macrame cord for this project. Any 10-ply cotton or jute style yarn would also work equally as well as long as the yarn was not too soft. Darning needle to sew in ends.
