I have designed these candle cozies to easily slip over the lid of a standard size mason jar with a lid width of 70mm and a height of 128mm. The tassels can be adjusted very easily for shorter or taller jars and there is some give to fit onto other jar configurations. MATERIALS 100% Cotton
CROCHET HOOK: METRIC: Size - 3.50mm, USA: Size - E-4, UK/CANADIAN: Size - 9. I used 100% cotton in 8 ply yarn for this project. It is very important you only use 100% cotton if you plan to burn a teal light or any other candle in your mason jar due to the heat it generates. You should be able to make a number of cozies from 1 ball of yarn. It’s also a great way to use up yarn ends. Darning needle to sew in ends.
